Production & Fashion Show
by Susanna Armenta
Fashion design & apparel engineering is a multidisciplinary field that combines the knowledge of engineering, technology, math, science, and the arts with the creativity of fashion design.
In this lesson, we will use multiple disciplines to create innovative garments, accessories, textiles/patterns, and fashion accessories. Students will continue to work in teams to design and produce usable, up-cycled fashion. At the end of the week, teams will prepare short presentations and showcase their designs to an audience.
