Phenomenal Forces and Motion

No votes have been submitted yet.

Phenomenal Forces and Motion is an amazing lesson which introduces students to the world of physics and Newton’s three laws of motion. Students will find out how some of the basic principles of elementary physics work in action. They will also be able to identify each of the three laws and apply the concepts to different examples. The goal is to see who can build a Balloon-Powered Airplane that travels the farthest before coming to a stop. They will follow the engineering design process to design, build, and test their Balloon-Powered Airplanes. This means they do not have to get their Balloon-Powered Airplanes "right" on the first try. They will be allowed to test and redesign their Balloon-Powered Airplane (as much as possible while time allows).
