Creating A Dichotomous Key for Cells

Students use their knowledge about cells and their organelles to create a dichotomous key to help guide others' thinking to decide if a cell is a plant cell or animal cell. Students need access to prepared slides, and microscopes or it can be accomplished with printed slides found from the internet. Students create their key in small groups and then test their key with slides from another and make edits as needed.
