
Canal Building - Connecting the Past to the Present

This lesson plan will encourage students to reconstruct one of the most ancient engineering designs. Not only will they explore how canals have shaped human survival, but also how we continue to use them today. Canal systems are especially important aspect to life here in Arizona.
