Building and Using an Anemometer
Students will build and use an anemometer to calculate wind speed and then use the wind speed to determine the affect wind has on temperature and the temperature that you feel (wind chill). Students will also use a fan to simulate wind if there is a lack of windy days. Students will have to count revolutions of their anemometer and then use a formula to convert it to miles per hour.
