Solar Oven S'mores
In this food-related lesson, students use the engineering design process to create solar ovens and cook s'mores. They engage in critical thinking as they construct their design and test out the oven. Students can work individually or in small groups. There is a literacy integration along with a video and images for your reference.

Students will use solar panels to convert solar energy into electricity. This solar energy is transmitted through cables to the motor and then to the fountain. The fountain pressure increases and
Engineers often create small-size models of a new product to test its design. This is especially true with airplanes. Model testing tells engineers how a design responds to different air conditions
The students will be working and pretending that they work for an engineering company that is designing a bridge. The Department of Transportation wants to see a model of the bridge, so they will be
