Slow Sustainable Fashion T-Shirts
by Kimberly Roach
Slow Sustainable Fashion T-Shirts combines art, design, math, and technology. Student will gain and understanding of sustainable slow fashion design by deconstructing a recycled printed t-shirt and then sewing the pieces back together in a different order, thus creating a new one-of-a-kind-t-shirt. Students will learn traditional sewing skills such as taking ones measurements, pinning, tracing and cutting out a clothing pattern, stitching, knotting and stenciling. The finished product will be a personalized one-of-a-kind- t-shirt that students can enjoy wearing for years to come.
