Physical & Chemical Properties - Ice Cream Machine
by Erin Carter
In this lesson, students will explore the different physical and chemical properties of matter. They will observe their ice cream ingredients change their properties to make a new substance. Students will also design their own ice cream machine. If students are advanced in their designing skills, they can be challenged to make a hands-free ice cream machine and within a limited amount of time. The best part of this lesson is that students get to eat their lab experiment and enjoy all their hard work.
