Natural Disasters with Hummingbird Robotics Kit

No votes have been submitted yet.

The students will create an interactive diorama using the Hummingbird Robotics kit on Natural Disasters. The students will choose their Natural Disaster that they want to bring to life, complete a blueprint, write computer code and build their diorama. The students will have to add working servos, multiple LED lights and sensors that all function because of the computer code written by students. The students will have to engineer their diorama to interact with hardware and computer code so that it functions as one. The idea of this lesson is to combine engineering, computer science and 8th grade science concepts into a single project. The students present their dioramas to younger students teaching them about computer code, engineering and Natural Disasters.
