My Own Major League Baseball Card
Students will learn about what a batting average is in baseball. They will learn how you calculate it and represent it as they do in baseball. Students will also track hits and what results from them. Afterwards, they will take their data to create a baseball card about their career and justify in writing whether or not they had a Hall of Fame worthy career. This is an engaging lesson that integrates, math, technology, art, and sports!
