Become an Aerospace Engineer - Paper Airplane Challenge
Students will brainstorm, and make predictions of why an airplane can fly. The teacher will present the knowledge of aerodynamics to the students using video , and giving them opportunity to process the concept through questioning strategies..Students uses engineering design process to create their own design, test their product and modify the design for the better performance. At the end of the lesson , they script their process and new learning on a graphic organizer. Students get opportunity to share their experiences, findings and knowledge to their peers/whole class.

This lesson is part 1 of 2. This lesson is set up to have students explore the friction bridge designed by Leonardo Da Vinci. Students first discover the inventor and become familiar with his life
In this hands-on lesson, students will be challenged to complete an obstacle course with a Sphero/RVR/Edison through coding. Students will be given a task list to complete and will be timed. Math
