The Wishing Tree: A STEM and Literacy Lesson

This hands-on lesson, allows students to make observations and draw conclusions based on their own crystal growth experiments. It combines literacy and science to give the students the opportunity to draw text to self and text to world connections. You can also emphasize the real-world applications of crystal formation in industries like technology, medicine, and art, making the lesson relevant to students lives.
