Weather Patterns: Rain Gauges
by Natasha Banales
In this unit, students will use their knowledge of weather and climate patterns to construct, place, and collect data from a rain gauge for one month. The beginning of the school year would be the optimal time to teach weather and climate patterns followed by this culminating unit on rain gauges due to the monsoon that our region experiences each summer.
