Sailing Down the Road: Part 2
This is part 2 of a two part lesson called Sailing Down the Road. In this lesson students will design a sail that can successfully catch the wind and cause their cardboard car (from part 1) to drive straight forward. Students will test their design, collect data, and make improvements until their car is successful!

In this lesson, students will be introduced to the phenomenon of paper/air pressure rocketry. Students will make a memorable and hands-on connection with the transfer of energy when they create and

Students will apply physics and engineering principles to design and construct a functional mini-golf course using homemade materials.

This lesson is a continuation of lesson 1. Students will learn about Newton's Laws of motion and apply those concepts to their car designs.
