Roller Coaster- Force, Motion and Energy Engineering Project
Students will learn about kinetic and potential energy and how energy transfers. They will use that knowledge in order to collaborate with peers to create a roller coaster that will demonstrate this. Through this process they will be encouraged to think creatively.

The students design and test a catapult using simple materials like popsicle sticks and rubber bands. They learn about the history of catapults and also about the physical science concepts related to
Rad Roller Coasters Part 2 comes at the end of our paper roller coaster project. Students will collect data on their coaster and use that to calculate velocity, potential energy and kinetic energy
Students will design a balloon rocket. They will then create a fish line track for the rocket to follow. The track will be able to me modified to test different angles of ascent. This will allow
