Rainforest Lesson 1: Abiotic and Biotic Factors
by Mandy Heal
This is the 1st lesson in a series of 4 covering the rainforest. As a class, we research the abiotic and biotic factors of the whole rainforest. Students jigsaw and research the abiotic and biotic factors in one of the four layers of the rainforest. Students create a Prezi about the layer they researched. Finally, students return to their primary group and teach them about the layer they researched. Links to all lessons in the series along with a variety of resources are included!
