Properties of Matter Lab
by Erin Carter
In this lab students will observe how five different ice cubes react while melting. Each ice cube is made of a different liquid (matter). They will then collect their data on length, height, and temperature every minute as the ice cube melts. Once their data has been collected, students will create three different line graphs to help them see the difference in how each type of matter reacts while melting.
