Phenomenon-l Newton's Cradle
In this inquiry-based lesson, students explore energy with the phenomenal Newton's cradle. They will be able to understand and apply the Law of Conservation of Energy. Students will identify the relationship in an exploratory lab, followed by supporting videos and documents. In the end students will be able to model energy transfer and transformation in the system of a Newton's cradle as well as write an explanatory paragraph explaining how the Newton's Cradle demonstrates the Law of Conservation of Energy.

This is a multiple day lesson plan based on Newton's 3 Laws of Motion. Students begin the lesson by collecting data observing coins moving across a table. After making the observations, students will
Engineers often create small-size models of a new product to test its design. This is especially true with airplanes. Model testing tells engineers how a design responds to different air conditions
