A Natural Shelter

Students will be exploring natural resources and 10's and 1's through this hands-on engineering project! The students will create a shelter for an animal out of natural resources they have collected or the teacher has collected. As they build, students will count the materials by tens and ones to keep track of how many natural resources they use in their shelter. The students will identify what natural resources are in their shelter and explain why they are natural resources.
