Martian Soil Amendments Seed Germination Race

This high school lesson was created to discuss Martian and potentially future soil on Earth. The overall goal is to achieve biodiversity and health within the soil. It should hold moisture but not too much moisture, it should stay around the same temperature and ph and conductivity throughout. It should support life to the best of its ability. Students measure growth using Excel in data tables and create a growth over time graph. Experiments like this will work to provide evidence for future trials.
