by Silvia Estrada Mariscal

Students will be wrapping two beans with a wet paper towel and placing the beans in the wet paper towel inside a plastic baggie, the teacher can tap baggies on a window where seeds in the baggies get some light. Students will be observing and keeping a record of how the beans are changing. On the 4th day of observation and recording any changes the seeds might have. At the end of the lesson, they will watch a video on seed germination. At this time students can label seed parts and make an illustration of the process of a seed.
