Investigating Animal Life Cycles with Technology, 3rd-4th grade
by Robyn Yewell
In this lesson, 3rd and 4th-grade students will explore the life cycles of various animals using technology to enhance their understanding. Students will research the stages of an animal's life cycle using computers or tablets, record their findings, and create timelines. They will then use spreadsheet software to organize the data and create graphs that represent the duration of each life cycle stage. This hands-on activity integrates science, technology, and math skills, helping students analyze and compare the life cycles of different animals through visual data representation.
