How Much Do We Grow in Second Grade?
by tawny bounds
This is a year long measurement unit. Students will learn about different tools to measure height, discuss and review what they need to grow, and create a growth over time graph for their height. They will also hypothesize about how much they will grow as an individual and as a class. The teacher will help them measure their height every month AND make a chart tracking the whole group's growth.
