Hidden Figures Taking Flight, Part 2: Rocket Aerodynamics
by Zel Fowler
In this lesson, students will understand how Katherine Johnson’s courage and actions impacted flight to space and changed the world, including racial segregation. Through a hands-on learning experience, this lesson will engage students to understand the basic elements of gravity and the flight of rockets.
