Imagine being stranded in the wilderness, far away from civilization, with nothing but your wits and a hatchet. You have to find a way to survive, to protect yourself from the elements, and to create a safe shelter to call home. This is the challenge that Brian Robeson, the young protagonist in the book "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen, faces.
In "Hatchet," Brian learns to adapt, innovate, and apply science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) principles to construct a shelter that can withstand the harsh realities of the wilderness. Now, it's your turn to step into Brian's shoes and take on this exciting and educational adventure.
