This is the 2nd lesson in a series of 2. Students gain hands-on experience with growing plants from seeds while learning about the plant life cycle, seed germination, and plant needs. They document their observations and measure growth with a data chart.

In this lesson, students will measure their sunflowers for the first time. They will also create their growth over time graphs for their sunflower growth. This is the 3rd lesson is a unit series of 4.

Students will participate in a hands-on scientific experiment that addresses the question: "Can you grow plants without seeds?" To further explore this concept, students will actively listen to a read
