Forces, Flight, and Learning with UAVs Lesson 3 of 4
This lesson is lesson 3 of 4 so it is designed to be used in conjunction with the two previous lessons. The students will continue using their newly acquired drone flying skills with both DroneBlocks (flying with the keys on a chrome book) as well as flying with a Game Sir controller if one is available. This lesson moves beyond the basics of take off and landing towards learning to fly the drone in a specific manner while mastering maneuvering skills that all drone pilots should have. Students will watch videos perhaps stopping after viewing a skill. Then they can go and complete the skill with a third student evaluating the maneuvers to assess whether the pilot completed the skill successfully. Finally there are suggestions for remedial work as enrichment activities for the students who finish early.
