Exploring Ecosystems: Where Adaptation Unveils, Human Impact Reveals, and Interdependence Prevails! (Week 3)
by Adrienne Houston
This project is the third of four parts involving 4th—and 6th-grade students exploring Arizona's science standards. Students will learn about how human activities impact the environment, competition for energy and resources in ecosystems, and factors influencing species change. Using evidence, students will support claims about human impact on different biomes on Earth and create 3D models and written explanations to illustrate how animals might adapt within ecosystems under human-induced changes.
