Earth's Axis: The Reason for the Seasons
This lesson is a great way to highlight Earth's rotation in addition to its revolution. Students build a model Earth with an axis to understand the tilt in the Earth and how it is responsible for the seasons. In addition, students participate independently in a virtual lab on rotation and revolution.

Engineers often create small-size models of a new product to test its design. This is especially true with airplanes. Model testing tells engineers how a design responds to different air conditions
