Design a Playground
by Elizabeth Stein
Students will be asked to design and build a playground using the given materials construction paper, toilet paper/paper towel rolls, jumbo/regular popsicle sticks, and glue/tape. They will learn about geometric shapes circles, squares and triangles through a read aloud book. They will draw a plan out for their playground design then build it to show a real life model. Once they have completed the project, the students will get the opportunity to share what they built.
