Day in the Life: An Ozobot Mars Rover
This week-long experience teaches students about the computer science and robotics behind NASA's Mars Rover program using Ozobots as Mars Rovers. Students will first build background on the history of Mars Rovers and how, as robots, they follow the instructions in code of computer scientists that work at NASA. Then students will get an introduction to the Ozoblockly block coding language so that they are prepared to use it to control their Ozobot Mars Rover. The last several days of the experience are spent mapping out a path on a Mars map for their Ozobot to follow to complete a series of important tasks. Once they plan, draw, and measure this path, they will then translate it into code in Ozoblockly that will be loaded onto their Ozobot to physically complete the tasks on the map.

Students will investigate the properties of different types of matter and apply the concept of "P1: Matter" to design, model, and 3D print an object using a MakerBot 3D printer. Hands-On STEM Design
Students will use the materials provided to engineer a vehicle that is powered by a robot and deliver a treat to a chosen location. Students will use the robots you have. I use Sphero and Edison
