2 votes with an average rating of 0.5.

In this hands-on lesson, students design a safety device (car/seatbelt) that can keep an egg (passenger) safe during a collision. The goal is to protect the egg from cracking during a roll down a ramp into a wall. Students use the engineering design process to guide the construction. The materials used can vary depending on what you have access to and allows for creativity in design.
