This is a lesson plan which draws importance to the ability of trees to carbon sequester in urban areas. As the world urbanizes more and more each day, it is important for our health to emphasize green spaces and do our part towards reaching global carbon neutrality.

9th Grade, 10th Grade, 11th Grade, 12th Grade
In this lesson, students will extract chlorophyll from spinach leaves and make different concentrations following the dilution method. Students will learn to compare the absorbance values obtained at
