Car LEGO and a Maze
Students will learn how to construct a moving car robot and program the robot using block-based coding. They will be successful when they have coded the car robot through a maze, they created, without touching the walls. Students should already have basic coding skills and experience with robots prior to this lesson.

This is a four-day lesson where students work in groups to design a fixture using LEGO bricks that holds a marker in an upright position while attached to their Edison Robots. Students code the robot
This lesson teaches students what coding actually is and how it enables us to program robots to do specific tasks. Using a simulated coding activity, students will begin to understand how coding works
Students will create a Google slideshow presentation to document their progress through the engineering design process, which includes: researching the science of sound, then creating an instrument
