“Build it and See” A 3D Modeling and Printing Exercise in Geometry
This hands-on lesson helps students understand the properties of 3D solids from their 2D base shapes and teaches them how to use CAD software to build their own 3D models of real-world objects by breaking them down into basic solids or shapes.

Students will investigate the properties of different types of matter and apply the concept of "P1: Matter" to design, model, and 3D print an object using a MakerBot 3D printer. Hands-On STEM Design
This lesson plan is a continuation of Part 1 (link to Part 1 is included). In this lesson, students will apply what they've learned from deconstructing boxes, and they will design their own unique
This is the final lesson of 4 lessons. In this lesson we are creating our design from lesson 3. This is a project-type lesson, so it is not done in a traditional manner. Students will create either
