A Boat for A Bug
Students will learn about engineering design and redesign. Students will collaborate and communicate effectively with their peers to plan and design a boat structure. They will build a clay and paper model of a boat. The students will also determine if their model boat floats or sinks. Students will be applying math strategies, ELA and Science and Engineering practices throughout the lesson.
