Grades: 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 11th Grade, 12th Grade

This is a high-school level hands-on project that allows students to build their own working sundial, make predictions and assess their accuracy. This lesson ties in with the study of Kepler's Laws.

Grades: 11th Grade
Students will be creating an improvised clinometer which they will use in estimating height of trees, flagpoles and the likes. Materials are as follows: Printed Protractors. Manila folders Scissors
