Unearthing Our Neighborhood's Secrets: Exploring Local Geological Layers and Fossil Finds

In this lesson, students will embark on an investigative journey to explore the geological history of their local community. Through hands-on activities and research, students will analyze rock layers formations and investigate the history of their place using relative dating techniques. By the end of the lesson, students will gain a deeper understanding of Earth's geological processes and how they have shaped their own surroundings.
