Song for a Whale Part 1: Building Background Knowledge
This lesson includes activities to help build equitable background knowledge before reading the book A Song for a Whale by Lynne Kelly. These activities include setting up science notebooks, building knowledge of whales, and creating informational posters about whales. This is the first of four lesson plans that correlate with the book.
