Simple Machine- Part 3- Creating a Ferris Wheel
This is part 3 of a unit. Links to the first 2 lessons are included. This lesson focuses on building the base for the Ferris wheel. Students are encouraged to design and create a base that is wide enough to hold their wheel and tall enough to keep their wheel aloft. Engineers often create small-size models of a new product to test its design. This is especially true with airplanes. Model testing tells engineers how a design responds to different air conditions

This is part 1 of a unit, other lessons are posted. In this lesson students will use prior knowledge of how wheels and axles work in order to create two symmetrical sides of a ferris wheel. This

In this hands-on lesson, students will be challenged to complete an obstacle course with a Sphero/RVR/Edison through coding. Students will be given a task list to complete and will be timed. Math
