Ship Design
An ELA Lesson Plan focusing on Stormalong story with integration on Science and Engineering. Understanding characters, figurative language (hyperbole) and comparing two stories are the focus of this lesson. This includes discussion about ocean and the 5 major oceans on Earth and the importance of ship in the life of human. For the output of students, teachers need to prepare materials for the ship that they will make. It could be ready-made and the students will just assemble, or the students will design their own ship. The total number of hours that this lesson be delivered is 90 minutes.
