Shiloh Lit Study / Creating a Structure to Protect Shiloh
In the novel Shiloh, Marty must leave Shiloh in the woods overnight. He quickly finds materials in his shed to build Shiloh a fence and structure to protect him from elements in the woods behind his house. Using only specific materials that model what Marty had available to him, students will create a fence and lean-to to protect Shiloh overnight. Students must work quickly and efficiently to protect their dog, making sure the lean-to and fence are sturdy to withstand the elements.
