Rube Goldberg Machines: Force and Motion
This is a lesson designed for 4th and 5th grade. It would come at the end of the unit on Force and Motion. It describes a wonderful machine called a Rube Goldberg Machine.
This lesson includes an ELA standard, Art standard as well as Science and Engineering standards. In this lesson, students will read or listen to a story, watch several videos, and read informational text and write a summary. They will finish by creating a Rube Goldberg machine sketch.
