Roll - A - Code Rock Cycle
In this lesson, students will code Edison robots to travel through the rock cycle. Students will describe characteristics of the metamorphic, sedimentary, and igneous rocks to create legos models. Students will roll a die, to find out where they will code their Edison robot to travel. The challenge is visit all three locations and collect as many samples as possible before time runs out.

This lesson takes place in a classroom over two weeks. Students may work in small groups of 2-3. Prior to the robotics challenge, teachers should facilitate student discussion through guided lessons
