Makey Makey with The Bionic Kid
by Bridget Hagest
Imagine how cool it would be to build a video game controller out of bananas! In this engineering design challenge, you will learn how to use everyday items and a Makey Makey kit to design a functioning video game controller. Inspired by "The Bionic Kid" comic and a truly inspirational pair of brothers, this lesson will help students develop empathy while exploring the engineering design process. After creating a functional controller, students will create a digital comic of their own.
