Life on Mars: A Scientific Exploration
Students will explore the field of astrobiology and the possibility of life on Mars through research, critical thinking, and hands-on activities. Students will design and create a model Martian habitat that addresses the challenges of sustaining life in a Martian environment.
During the "Life on Mars" unit, grade 6 students embark on a journey to understand the mysteries of the Red Planet. They learn about Mars' unique features, its geological history, and the conditions that make it an intriguing target for exploration. Students are introduced to the concept of astrobiology.
