Keep It Cold
The objective of this lesson is to engage students in the practical application of science, engineering, and critical thinking skills to design and create a container that effectively keeps perishable food cold during emergency situations. Students will explore the principles of insulation, heat transfer, and material science while addressing the real-world challenge of preserving food in the absence of traditional refrigeration. This lesson not only engages students in hands-on STEM activities but also encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and the application of scientific principles to address practical challenges in emergency situations.
