Homeostasis in Cells
In this lesson plan, students make use of their knowledge about homoestasis, osmosis, and types of solutions to design their own science investigation that will enable them to prove and answer: Why it is dangerous to drink dead sea water. Students have to prove their hypothesis to this phenomenon. The materials for this activity are naked egg (as a model of the cell), distilled water, Dead Sea water (31.5% salt concentration), digital scale, and timer (phone timer).

This lesson is about the effect of enzymes on the rate of chemical reactions in biological systems.
This is the first lesson in a series of four that are designed to help guide students to design and implement their own independent STEM research project.
I use this egg drop/crash lesson as an introduction to Energy and Energy Transfer in physics. Students understand basic kinematics, but I generally conduct this lesson before projectile motion, but it
