Flower Power

In this hands on lesson, students learn about LED lights and why they are they better choice for the environment. After becoming familiar with LEDs, students then find out that the local Parks and Rec. department have installed flood lights at the park, which is scaring the nocturnal animals away. With their knowledge on LEDs, students make small flower LED powered night lights and work to convince the Parks and Rec. department that LEDs are better.
