Egg Drop Landers
Students design and test a device for an egg drop in this engaging and hands-on lesson. They will document their data, make modifications to designs, and assess what the outcome is of their own drop while reflecting on concepts and ideas.
This lesson plan can be adapted to grades 6-8th (possibly younger as well)!

This lesson is for a multi-day project where student groups will plan, design, and build roller coasters out of paper and tape. It tests their knowledge of Physics and Engineering Design.
Could Iron Man actually survive a superhero landing? In this lesson, students follow the engineering design process to create a "suit" for an egg to protect it from being dropped on the ground. They
